This 1 day is designed to introduce you to Monty Roberts version of longlining and is an insight into what students learn on the full Long Lining course.
As well as introducing you to the Dually Halter and how to use it correctly, you will learn how to prep horses for longlining and what essential skills they need before you tack them up!
You’ll learn the benefits of longlining for you and the horses, and why Monty considered single line lunging in the top 3 worse pieces of horsemanship
Try your hand at the simple obstacle course & get your longlining skills improved, and learn how minor things make a big difference to the horses!
There are no prerequisites for the day, all horses and equipment provided. So if you are new to horses, or would like to learn a new skill this day is for you..
